"My aunt Stephy marriage to David Cockle … my father in background" Christopher Ondaatje.
Hello. I am archiving photographs for the St. Petrock's History Group in Timberscombe, Somerset. From 1946 to 1951, Rev. David John Cockle was the vicar at the village church. I came across your photograph, in the Christopher Ondaatje Collection, of his marriage to Sir Christopher's Aunt Stephy (she is buried here with him). As a boy, Ondaatje and his cousin, Dawson, use to spend holidays and play cricket here. I am wondering if I can use this photograph in the village archive as we only have one other photograph of Rev. Cockle (he died unexpectedly and young) and none of his wife and this would be a wonderful addition.
