Annette van Maurik Collection

I can just make out the words "Welcome" on the white structure, which seems
to be made up of scaffold poles and white sheets. I imagine it is
theBalangoda Estate's way of welcoming Mr & Mrs Megget back from leave
c1935. They are in the centre with Bill Atkins next to Mr Megget. My
father is on the far left. I love the little children peeping round the
edge of the photo
