I thought everyone knew that Daddy'd been a fighter pilot in the R.A.F. during World War II! Though he'd been at the Royal Dental School in London before the war broke out, he liked flying so much that, when the war was over, he became a commercial pilot for Air Ceylon and Air India. After that he joined TWA as Sales Manager and then, eventually, went back to his Dentistry in Kandy and Colombo.
Unfortunately, the album Daddy kept during the war was eaten by white ants! I'll check out Mum's albums when I'm next in Oz and see if I can find any. However, I've got these which I'm sending you.
