My father Bryan Patt was General Manager of the Liptons tea factory in Colombo from approximately 1955 until 1972. Initially we lived in the flat on top of the factory. Sadly I have been unable to find many photos that could assist you.
But I have come across the attached photos. The colour photo is of the Liptons factory taken I think at the end of the 70's with a Liptons lorry driving by. Sadly it has since been demolished . There is Also a night time photo taken during a ceremony in the late 60's. The other photos I believe are of the Liptons Dambetenna tea factory. I hope they may be of interest to you.
