Maldive Islands.
Front of a small mosque on the island of Fuvahmulah. This island, north of the southern most attoll of Addu, is quite unique. It has brackish water lakes and no reef.
This must be quite a rare picture (circa 1987) and I doubt this mosque still stands as it was.
Fuvahmulah means "Island of the Areca nut palms".
